Cambridge, New York

The Cambridge Valley is nestled amongst farms and hills in one of the most scenic areas of upstate New York. This rural area is an easy-to-get-to destination from the Albany area, and we are within a one hour drive from Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls and Manchester Vermont.

The tree-shaded streets of Cambridge Village invite you to window shop for crafts and antiques, sample the delights of the local pastry shops and experience the atmosphere that is unique to Cambridge's National Register Historic District. Cambridge was founded in 1773, and many of the homes reflect the architecture of the period. History is evident everywhere, and it blends well with the present.

There is plenty to see and do in the Cambridge area. Come and spend some time in our region, visit our museums and art galleries, attend a service at the New Skete Monastery, or take in a concert or play in Hubbard Hall Theatre Company's historic opera house. You may also shop for unique gifts, take a bike tour to our covered bridges, canoe down the Battenkill river and stay in our newly renovated Hotel. However you spend your time, it is sure to be memorable!
