$25 on the 25th Campaign

Why spend $25 on the 25th locally?
You’ve seen the signs, “Buy Local,”, it’s been a grassroots campaign in the area for several years now.  The Cambridge Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Cambridge have joined together to promote shopping in Cambridge on September 25th.
Why is it important?  Buying local keeps the Cambridge area vibrant and attractive. Picture the Cambridge business district with all the shops and restaurants closed... what a sad sight that would be.
$25 on the 25th…. think of it as a statewide “Buy Local” campaign focused on one day.
Shop Cambridge on the 25th of September and make a point to shop where you don’t usually go and venture into the shops that you’ve never visited.   Retailers in Cambridge are offering specials, Black Dog Wines and Spirits is offering $2.50 off the purchase of local and NY state wines, Over the Moon Beads is offering 10% off your purchase of $25,  Battenkill Books is having a Sidewalk Sale, Cambridge Antiques Center is offering 20% off your purchases over $25.00 on most items, just to name a few.  Look for the $25 /25th window decal, distributed by the Village of Cambridge , and be sure to “Buy Local, keep a neighbor working” and do your part to support our local economy. It’s great for tax revenue too!  Dollars spent here help generate much needed funds for the village, towns and county.
